Viktoria Gavrilenko paints these fantastic characters, I really love the mystical theme to her works. Something that really attracted me to her works was the use of lighting in her works especially these three. I chose these ones as they each show different lighting and I really like her use of shadowing. With the last one I really liked how she had painted the fish as they look as though they are shimmering.

Cory Loftis is a visual development artist at Disney animation, these works are some of work done off the clock. You can really see in the works the Disney influence. I just love this style and the look of these characters. My favorite out of these few are definitely the first, I really like the detail in the head such as the earrings and in the creature she is holding with the stripes and the saliva. I really think all the small details add to the works.

These Victorian Houses are absolutely gorgeous. I would actually love to live in one of these, the thing I like most is how the old style of them is kept but the paint makes them look modern. Also they remind me a little bit of Cinderella’s castle in Disneyland (especially the one with lights). Plus I think its really refreshing to see them when they aren’t all run down like they look in horror movies.
These artworks by Claire Keane are based of the Disney film Tangled. What first attracted me to these works was the fact that they were based of the film as Tangled is probably my favorite Disney film ever, next I just really liked the style, the detail in the backgrounds are beautiful. I also think that she did the hair really well as she manages to show the length and show the texture which can sometimes be lost with an art style like this.
